Laboratory Services

Local laboratory services are provided on site to Acute Care, ER and Hemodialysis patients seven days per week. Outpatient testing is available Monday through Friday and this service is provided to about 18,000 patients per year.

The local lab completes a large panel of tests at the site, with the remainder being processed in Red Deer or a Provincial lab in Edmonton. Medical Lab Assistants work to reduce fears and make their patients as comfortable as possible.
